Six artists presenting work from Ithra at Art Week Riyadh

Ithra is presenting artworks from its collection during Art Week Riyadh at JAX District, including pieces by the below creatives.

  • Do Ho Suh

    The South Korean artist’s works encompass sculpture, installation, and drawing. He is well known for re-creating architectural structures and everyday objects using fabric.

  • Maha Malluh

    Malluh is a Saudi artist who began exhibiting her art in 1976. Her work examines the urban population in Saudi Arabia, the rural environment, and material culture in the Kingdom.

  • Michelangelo Pistoletto

    Pistoletto is a founding father of the Arte Povera movement. His art seeks to merge art and life through sculptural installations, experimental performances, and, most famously, his mirror paintings.

  • Hazem Harb

    Moving from Gaza to Rome to receive his MFA at The European Institute of Design, and then on to the UAE, Harb’s work is fueled by personal insights.

  • Sultan bin Fahad

    Born in 1971 in Riyadh, the artist’s practice incorporates drawing, painting, sculpture, and installation.

  • Moath Alofi

    Since 2013, Alofi has undertaken photographic documentation of his homeland, moving from focusing on cultural items to photographing and exploring the larger Medina Region.
